because of the wasp waist, hourglass figure,highlighted boobs, long eyelashes, pouty lips and those are all traditional beauty ideals girls are always told they have to fit into which is stupid and incredibly harmful to the self of girls who don’t or don’t want to? And the fact it’s pokemon makes it even more relevant because it tells little girls “hey this is inescapable.Even non-human female character’s are expected to look like this. You can’t be short or fat or round if you’re a girl anywhere. Even a Pokemon. When you “evolve”, if you’re female, round and short things become “sexy”. You can only upgrade if you become like this idealized figure. Men don’t have to do this of course. But women do.”
